Assembler

Undefined

Assembler is a compositional language, often shortened asm, is a low-level programming track for a computer or other programmable device, where there is a very strong (but often not one-to-one) correspondence between the language and architecture's machine code instructions.

Each assembly language is specific to each computer architecture.

Assembler language is converted into executable machine code by a utility called an assembler. The conversion process is called assembly or assembly of the source code. Mounting time is the calculation step where a fitter is running.

This programming language is almost never used today, only for some chips.

In machine code, both instructions and addresses and other constant data are represented as patterns of numbers (bits or in another speech base), without either semantic or structural support for memory. For example, writing, editing, and debugging is difficult.

Assembler therefore allows the use of named data and that the instructions of the machine in question are written in letters, so-called mnemnotechnical symbols.

This greatly facilitates the programmer, not least because addresses are often relative (each other) and therefore need to be re-calculated for each program change; With a assemblator, symbolic names are calculated quickly and automatically, including all relative addresses and indexes for input routines and data structures.

Games For Linux

Windows has always been the preferred platform for gaming, but after STEAM's interest in Linux more game developers are making their games natively available for Linux.
