Can't Uninstall LibreOffice, Error libobasis6.3-core

Can't uninstall LibreOffice, error libobasis6.3-core.

Well, it got this dependency error during installation of LibreOffice, however no matter what I couldn't find the required package.

So having a half complete installation isn't really something I want taking up space on my SSD, so I decided to remove it with the usual command, which has always worked before.

But it didn't work this time, so after some searching, I found the right solution on Libreoffices forum.

Can't uninstall LibreOffice, error libobasis6.3-core.

However it didn't anymore, so here is what to do using a terminal window.

Type the following:

sudo dpkg --remove --force-all  libobasis6.3-core

Press Enter,

sudo apt-get clean

Press Enter,

sudo dpkg --configure -a

Press Enter,

sudo apt-get autoremove

Press Enter, done.

Now your LibreOffice installation should be completely wiped off your HDD or SSD disk.
