Electrum - A BitCoin Wallet for Linux


Electrum is a lightweight, easy-to-use, open source Bitcoin client that protects users from losing coins in a backup or data failure, as the wallet can be reset by entering a secret phrase.
There is no waiting time when you start the client because it does not download Bitcoin blockchain.
Electrum's focus is speed, low resource usage and simplification of Bitcoin. Start time is immediate because it works with high performance servers that handle the most complicated parts of the Bitcoin system.
Electrum has different user interfaces and can be used on mobile, desktop and / or with the command line via a terminal window.
