GPG error: deb-multimedia.org testing InRelease NO_PUBKEY 5C808C2B65558117, is insecure to use.

You should also remove the unsigned unofficial debian-multimedia.org repository from your sources list.

NOTE: In this tutorial I will be using nano editor, instead of gedit, because gedit shows a blank page, when editing.

GPG error: deb-multimedia.org testing InRelease NO_PUBKEY 5C808C2B65558117.

Open a terminal window and type the following:

su

Press Enter, type you "root" password and hit enter again.

Now type or copy the following command:

nano /etc/apt/sources.list.d/multimedia.list*

Press Enter,

Delete the following two rows, the domain is no longer used as a repository for Debian.

deb http://www.deb-multimedia.org/ testing main non-free

deb-src http://www.deb-multimedia.org/ testing main non-free

Save using CTRL+X, Enter 'Y' and press enter again.

Make sure to do the same with /etc/apt/sources.list.d/multimedia.list.save.

Type the following as "root":

nano /etc/apt/sources.list.d/multimedia.list.save*

Press 'Y'

Press Enter, there you will find:deb-src http://www.deb-multimedia.org/ testing main non-free

This needs to be deleted, then CTRL+X, Type 'Y' and Press Enter.

CTRL+X to exit

To make sure you completely removed all traces of deb-multimedia.org:

Type the following grep command:

grep -i debian-multimedia.org /etc/apt/sources.list

Now make sure you completely removed all traces of debian-multimedia.org:

nano /etc/apt/sources.list.d/*

Press Enter, and if nothing but, Skype or Teamviewer appears, you're good to go, you can safely leave them.

Otherwise, delete it, CTRL+X, 'Y' and Press Enter, CTRL+X again to exit.
