NOTE! If your .deb package contains a tilt character, rename the file and delete it, otherwise you will not be able to install the latest version!

Open a terminal window and type:

cd downloads

Press Enter.

dpkg - i inkscape_1.0.2-4_amd64.deb

Press Enter.

sudo apt-get install -f

If you want a plugin to generate automatic templates:

sudo apt-get install inkscape generator
