MyPaint for Linux.

Mypaint is a print and slope sensitive target application that works well with Wacom tablets and other similar devices. It comes with a large brush assembly including carbon and ink to emulate real media, but the highly configurable brush engine allows you to experiment with your own brushes and with a completely natural painting.

Latest version: MyPaint v2.0.1 May 29, 2020 available in Debian 11 "Bullseye" repository.

Latest changes/bugfixes:

  • HSV/HCY brush dynamics in 2.x mode have been fixed.
  • Undo/Redo stack size is now configurable, and the default size is increased to 40.
