qBittorrent for Linux - An alternative to üTorrent

qBittorrent is a platform client for the BitTorrent protocol released under GNU GPL, Version 2. qBittorrent aims to be a free and open source alternative to popular clients such as μTorrent.

qBittorrent is written in C ++, and is thus a built-in application. It uses Boost, Qt toolkit (version 4 or 5), and libtorrent-rasterable library (for torrentback-end). The volunteer search engine is written in Python, so systems without Python implementation can not use it.
