Block entire countries using .htaccess, is an excellent and easy way to block unwanted traffic to your website.

Spam is a worldwide problem which all webmasters must deal with sooner or later. Now, there are several ways to reduce spam using Captchas, blocking email domains and usernames, but sometimes this is simply not enough.

So if countries well known for its SPAM, doesn't affect your business / income, block the entire country instead.

Block entire countries using .htaccess.

Download the lists of IP-Ranges from IP2Location.

Then paste it into your .htaccess file.

You might want to remember which countries you blocked, so put a #comment above.

Please note that it will not block all traffic from the countries you block, but alot.
