There are over 500 thousand tech companies in the US alone and the biggest of them are laying off staffers and removing job offers from the market.

Reasons given for sacking engineers are widely spread, but most are hinted at profitability issues and others at staffers not performing as expected.

The big tech companies are:

  • Amazon ( 1,608,000+ employees )
    Amazon is planning to lay off around 10,000 employees in corporate and technology roles.
