Twitter May Not Offer End-To-End Encryption As Promised

Twitter May Not Offer End-To-End Encryption As Promised.

Elon Musk expressed an interest in adding end-to-end encryption to direct messages just before the deal went through, but now Ella Irwin, Twitter’s new trust and safety lead, claims in an interview with Forbes that there are no immediate plans to roll out end-to-end encryption on Twitter. In fact, this may never be introduced.

The FBI has naturally expressed their concerns just as with anything they can't easily access or hack into.

So-called experts have been talking about the potential unpleasant consequences of end-to-end encryption.

People who are interested in privacy and personal security, should stop using this platform for various reasons, unless you use it for commercial purposes only.

We are considering abandoning the platform just as many already have done, mostly because of their support is not answering a request for support to either fix their sms system or remove the 2FA from our account, since it only worked as it should for less than two days.

It seems Apples decision to enforce end-to-end encryption has upset the FBI, since they like any snooping government body wants access to all communications made by citizens, has made an impression on Twitters new Irwin.

The problem is reaching all potential "Dummies" and help molding them into "Smarter" people without using social networks like Twitter.

Irwin denied reporters were given access to users messages, but Abigail Shrier, one of the journalists behind the Twitter Files, earlier boasted that “our team was given extensive, unfiltered access to Twitter’s internal communication and systems.”
