Privacy Notice: UPDATED 2023-01-08
This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for linuxexperten.com and our TOS.
We have added some more features to it, like for example we will collect your IP-address, Timezone and place a temporary cookie on your computer, if you hit the send button. This is to prevent "Trolls" from sending non-useful messages. You accept this "if" you hit the button.
We do not send out a confirmation e-mail, when a person subscribes to our newsletter. You will know you have been added once you receive our first newsletter and if you wish, you can easily opt-out of further e-mails, by clicking the un-subscribe link at the bottom of that e-mail.
Note: We do not take responsibility for any potential misuse, like someone else adds your e-mail to our newsletter. If you didn't subscribe to our newsletter, just click the un-subscribe link and it will automatically be removed from the list.
We have recently added a locked member section to our site, which contains articles on hacking, tutorials for installing and using such software. Both Grey Hat and Black Hat teqhniques. This could be of interest for wannabe hackers ( pentesters ) or people interested in securing their systems against hackers/crackers.
Members only provide an email-address and choose a password, that is it. After being reviewed by us, we decide whether or not to accept you as a member.
Depending on how often you login to our site, we will release more articles for you as they are per user-based.
Note: All emailaddresses will be scanned against spammingforums and anti-spam databases.
Domains like, .xyz, ru and many others like "temporary e-mail domains" are totally blocked from registration for SPAM reasons, plus they are easy to hack into. If you try to use one of these, you will not be able to register on our site, for our Newsletter.
Examples of working e-mail providers are: GMail, Hotmail, Outlook, Yahoo, Proton and others...
We do not engage with guests on social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp). Only via our Mastodon account.
Our site doesn't include social media features, such as the Facebook Like button, Google Plus, Pinterest and Twitter widgets. However we do have a link to our pirmary Mastodon account posted on our frontpage. This is new for December 2022. As we have abandoned Twitter like many others.
