Peer2Peer File Sharing

English

Peer2Peer file sharing is a peer-to-peer network, a non-hierarchical network.

It is a computer network of interconnected nodes, that do not communicate according to the client server model.

This means that different computers are not assigned specific roles in communication and no nodes have any special privileges vis-à-vis the others, but all nodes in the network can act in all roles (be a peer).
